Immerse students in the rich traditions of Sweden with this engaging workshop, suitable for all age groups. Led by Rebecca, an accomplished Nyckelharpa player, the program celebrates Swedish heritage through music, dance, and storytelling.
Participants will experience the joy of Swedish folk culture by:
- Singing playful songs like Små Grodorna (The Small Frogs).
- Dancing lively traditional steps such as the Polska and Halling.
- Learning about unique instruments like the Nyckelharpa.
The workshop also explores the cultural significance of Swedish traditions, including Midsummer celebrations. Activities are tailored to suit the audience:
- Younger children enjoy simple songs and circle dances.

This interactive experience invites everyone to sing, dance, and stomp along, creating a fun and educational way to connect with Swedish culture.
