Aboriginal Mural Creation

Give students the chance to co-create an Aboriginal-inspired mural with a professional Aboriginal artist. This program promotes cultural understanding, teamwork, and creative expression, while honoring Aboriginal traditions.

How It Works:

  • Yarning Circle Kick-off
Begin with a traditional Yarning Circle where students share ideas, learn about Aboriginal culture, and develop a meaningful storyline for the mural.
  • Hands-On Mural Creation
Students work directly with the artist to paint the mural on canvas. A protective sealer ensures durability, making it perfect for display in schools, offices, or community spaces. All participants retain copyright.
  • Celebration & Reflection
Conclude with a final Yarning Circle to reflect on the journey and celebrate the achievement. Each participant receives a Certificate of Completion.

This program offers an unforgettable opportunity to connect with Aboriginal culture, foster creativity, and create a lasting piece of art for your space.
