Les Chansons Françaises

In Les Chansons Françaises, Pauline invites students into the heart of her Parisian childhood through an interactive vocal session that blends music, language and cultural storytelling. Students explore intercultural understanding as they learn authentic French songs and experience the warmth and charm of French musical traditions. Depending on the age group, Pauline teaches either a popular French children’s song or a catchy chorus from the 1960s Yé‑Yé era, which students perform accompanied by the band.

Program Highlights:

  • Interactive storytelling and music inspired by Pauline’s Parisian upbringing
  • Learning a French children’s song or a 1960s Yé‑Yé chorus
  • Live musical accompaniment from the band
  • Opportunities to hear and speak French throughout the session
  • Introduction to basic waltz steps to conclude the program

Engaging, uplifting and culturally rich, Les Chansons Françaises offers students a joyful introduction to French music, language and tradition.
