• Presentation on Colombian Afro-Caribbean rhythms and performance
• Basics of percussion: beat and off-beat
• Learn the foundational rhythm of Cumbia

Part Two: Exploring Puya

• Further percussion technique: beat and off-beat
• Learn the energetic rhythm of Puya

Part Three: Group Performance

• Students perform the rhythms learned alongside the teacher in a celebratory ensemble finale
