German Rhythms & Culture is a lively, hands-on music and movement program that brings the rich traditions of Germany to life through live accordion performance, dance and rhythm. Students are immersed in the sounds and stories of German folk music, discovering how music has long played a central role in community life, celebrations and cultural identity.

Students will experience:

• Traditional German folk styles including polkas and waltzes
• Live accordion performances showcasing the character and energy of German music
• Simple dance demonstrations inspired by traditional folk dances, with opportunities for student participation
• Interactive rhythm activities using clapping, movement and classroom percussion to explore strong, steady beats
