In Rhythms of Latin America participants are introduced to the rich dance and cultural traditions of Hispanic countries through storytelling, movement and music. The program features a range of street Latin dance styles, introducing participants to the fun and upbeat rhythms of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Samba and Tango. Each session begins by exploring the cultural context of a Latin American country through a short story, followed by easy-to-learn choreography inspired by both traditional and contemporary Latin music. The program encourages creativity, connection and a deeper understanding of storytelling through movement.
