Voices of Culture
Voices of Culture 2026 is a student reflection competition designed to capture authentic student voice and extend the learning from your Cultural Infusion experience into the classroom.
We invite schools to record a short video featuring 2–3 students reflecting on their program. This is most effective when filmed on the same day as the booking, while students’ thoughts and feelings are fresh. The aim is to hear, in students’ own words, what they enjoyed, what they learned about culture, and why intercultural understanding matters.
This competition supports the Australian Curriculum’s Intercultural Understanding capability by encouraging students to reflect on cultural perspectives, respect, curiosity, and connection.
Schools that enter will be in with a chance to win a free Cultural Infusion program in Term 3 or 4. All entrants will also receive extended access to our Learning Hub Premium platform to support ongoing learning in the classroom.
What you’ll receive by entering
By submitting an entry, your school will:
- Be in with a chance to win a free Cultural Infusion program (to be delivered anytime in the following year)
- Receive 9 months of Learning Hub Premium access (usually 3 months free with any booking)
What is Learning Hub?
Learning Hub (previously known as Learning Lands) is Cultural Infusion’s digital library of classroom-ready resources. It includes hundreds of lesson plans, interactive activities, and an expanding suite of professional learning modules for teachers.
Resources are designed for Prep to Year 10 and are aligned to the Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on the Intercultural Understanding capability. This makes it easy for teachers to build meaningful follow-up learning after a cultural program, without needing to create resources from scratch.
Who can enter?
- Any Australian school that has booked and experienced a Cultural Infusion program
- Entries should feature 2–3 students (recommended)
- Video length: 1–2 minutes
Suggested reflection questions for students
Schools may use the questions below to guide responses:
- Which program did you enjoy the most?
- What did you enjoy about it?
- What did you learn about the program or the culture?
- Why is learning about different cultures important?
Tip: Encourage students to speak naturally rather than reading a script. Short, genuine answers are best.
